So I did as you said at the start and the boxes are as they should be but once I got past that I realized there was no snow, the hexes were green with fields and marshes n such. So I closed that and opened up a new game, went straight to it - didn't look at the rules, and there was snow. Did check the rules from the settings tab and A-okay. So that was weird.
Sorry to take up so much bandwidth but I just thought I should say something about that, and I wanted folks to know they should be seeing snow.
