JTS Wolfpack - firing solution vs stationary target
Hi All,

I'm playing the Scapa Flow scenario.

I get some strange behaviour with the firing solution when targeting the stationary Royal Oak.

Sometimes the firing solution is dead on the target, sometimes well off (to the front or rear).

Is this a function of crew targeting skill?

Any clarification would be great.

The system has a built-in error factor feature.  This is a .pdt entry, if memory serves correctly.  The idea is to simulate that in ww2 (and even today, for that matter) no firing solution is 100% accurate.  Now I grant that it would seem that there should be no error on a stationary target, but the system only uses the .pdt value, not actual game factors such as target speed.
