Reflections on the bolt out of the blue.
I've recently engaged in the massive Bolt out of the Blue scenario...

This thing is the most MASSIVE PZC scenario I've ever played... I wonder if I've bitten off more than I can chew... and yet I persist... and my opponent is still there awaiting my turns... so for now I will march on.

I also wonder if we can complete this before I age out lol.

I managed 250 turns of a Sicily campaign, that took a couple of years  Wink

I managed some 450 turns of the big Normandy scenario, my record for PzC.

Completed 170 turns of Sealion in just over a year. But that's fairly small by comparison. Currently on turn 65 of France '40, only about 200 more to go. I WILL retire before it's over, so that might speed things up...   Smile

To be honest I feel like playing these big scenarios are the pinnacle of the series and it is difficult to be as invested in a 20 turn scenario once you've played (or even just started) one.

Those huge scenarios are best played as team games. But, they also have their hazards.
