Just checking: "awaiting", as in business-as-usual, or "awaiting" as in not having received a turn in weeks?

How's everyone else? Happy bunnies all of ya? (Where's the happy bunny smiley when you need one)

Any thoughts on kicking the 1939 team games in, before having the Prelude all finished? Or should we wait to have a clean start again?

I am fine either way.

					Hi Sgt. K. Kat
As the Spanish team game still has to go a lot of turns I don't see a problem in starting the next round.
Anyway during the time we (team players) are waiting till the opponent team is sending their turn back we could maybe even manage playing the next scenario of the next round?

					Hi Sgt. K.Kat & All!
I'm "awaiting" the 1939 round, so IMHO the sooner it starts, the sooner the fun begins! :boom2:
But I don't mind "awaiting" for everyone to finish their ongoing scens to start "clean" and all at once.

 Cheers!

I believe there's no reason to emulate the Phony War with this tournament?
I will send an email to my team members to ask for volunteers to start the 1939. I will ask Larry to do the same on his behalf.

This is a good moment to join the tournament as well. Interested, just drop a line in this thread!
OK - email sent to Axis team. If you did not receive it let me know and I know to update my email list!

			| RE: ( 1939 !!! ) The World in Flames Tournament - The Prelude
					Gents,
After a quick roll call we have a nine-a-side 1939 in front of us.

 Allied:
 Arnold75
 General Lee Ensayne
 KKR
 Larry Reese
 Laza
 Oberst
 Otto von Blotto
 Outlaw Josey Wales
 Zap

 Axis:
 Bioman
 Chuck10Mtn
 JRTXX
 Kampfpanzer
 Panzerjäger
 Peiper
 Scud
 Sgt K. Kat
 von Manstein

I've suggested we play the following 1939 scenarios as listed in the Tournament thread:

 - The one Pacific (RS) scenario
 - The one French (WF) scenario
 - The two Finnish (EF) scenarios
 - The first five Polish (EF) scenarions

If you have better ideas, now would be a pretty good time to let us know about them! :)

					Here we go then: https://www.theblitz.club/message_boards...#pid337209
As with The Prelude, if the scenario does not inform on Optional Rules, please use: All ON except AF VV OFF

You should also have an email from your CiC with the contact details.

Good Luck!

I am on reserves, willing to try The Phony Offensive should any Allied General want to try that out with me.

EDIT: Please let me know if The Prelude game you were involved is finished, but the result is not mentioned in the Tournament thread...

Boisforas reported for duty for the Axis side. Ed, were you ready to join in as well? Let Larry know, and we will set you up against Boisforas...
