Yes you do need to be a Gold member (Austin Powers ?) but it doesn't cost that much really for a 12 month subscription. Have you tried setting up your Silver membership yet because when i tried to set mine up it told me i was eligible for a free month of Gold membership as a new member.....their attempt to hook you on online gaming (and it worked too). ;)

Also, they don't support my credit card type :mad:
So I will have to hunt down a place where they sell vouchers :(
I use the same name on 360 so look out for me :)
