North German plain 1985 - British Royal Yeomanry TOE
Newbie to the Blitz, so apologies if this is in wrong place.

The TOE for the Royal Yeomanry is all wrong. I was in the regiment at the time this game is set. I was in the RHQ so sadly I do not appear on a counter.

The 4 sabre squadrons, as they were called, were A,B,C and D as per game. However each had 16 Scimitars having just replaced the Fox a/c. Saladins were replaced by Fox years earlier. In practice though, to give eave 12 Scimitars would probably be fair as not all squadrons were at 100% strength. Also each squadron and the HQ squadron each had an infantry platoon in Spartans - the APC of the FV100 series. The regt also had 8 Milan launchers. The nearest I can get to this is to all this is to add an infantry coy of 130 men in FV432s though the 5 inf. platoons were never amalgamated IRL. The inf platoons tended to be the starting point for many recruits so I would give them a C rating. B rating for the sabre squadrons.

Our sister regiment the Queen's Yeomanry is also in the BAOR TOE. They were equipped pretty much like us, but I don't know if they had Scimitars in '85 so I leave them as is.

As a whole the oob is pretty basic with many errors but i dont see the vanilla game getting any oob changes as its been out for years. Youll have to mod it yourself.

Thank you both. I have done the mod ( or rather a computer-literate Canadian friend did it for me)
