JTBG question.
I've been looking on Matrix and see that i can get the JTBG ACW & Nappy series as a bundle, my question is does anyone play these games or are the HPS games the daddy?

I don't want to waste my limited funds on something that'll be no use to me even if it is good value for money as you get all the BG titles on one shot.

cheers

RE: JTBG question.
I have them, and would like to play some games against other players. I don't know how many people play them, but you'll get the odd opponent here, I suspect and more on the Matrix boards too.

I'm happy to give any of the battles a try, as playing the AI is too predictable.

I would say, however, that if you want more opponents, then the HPS titles seem to be much more active on the boards.

Cheers

RE: JTBG question.
These games are good fun and we are working on several upgrades and expansions for the Napoleon Series. If the period interests you I would get them.

I had only a passing interest in 19th century but I bought both games 3 months ago and have been playing/modding/designing scenarios for BGN constantly - haven't even opened CW.

I'm thinking of starting a BGN tournement to play out some of the new modules. That should bring some lurkers out into the open.
