Damn I hate a slow turn rate
Or put another way........the best way to ruin a team game is with a two week turn around time.I have never been able to figure out why people are so gung ho to start a team game and then take forever to complete a turn......it makes for a very boring game(esp if the scenario sucks to start with).......and is down right rude.........if they would just e-mail and let you know there will be a delay....or maybe even a post on the blitz website.......hello :-)......but no ...............time passes and no word........then lo and behold a turn arrives.............and I can't even remember the scenario never mind what I was trying to do..............guess I'm just old and cranky.........ya think!

I will say I am going to be much more particular about who I enter a team game with.............unfortunately it is the best way to play the cs game.........unfortunately it is also the best way to ruin the cs game......old saying

LOL! Big Grin
Everyone get out of Earl's way! Eek

I think that teammates should be able to play the turns of their slower or incapacitated team members. It sure would help keep continuity in a game? :smoke:

I'm often put back by slow play. I realize that not all play as quickly as I do. But, two week turn around is too, too, much!

RE: Damn I hate a slow turn rate
Well said VE, this is precisely why I never participate in Team Games and very rarely enter tournaments, Team Games never finish with the same players - if at all, and Tournies.. well, they just never finish.... Shark Fin Soup anyone?

Don't be too harsh on them, many of them have been finished, :smoke:

just like the Smedley's one

However I do agree that those take some time to be finished

And I believe that all that mess with the update versions slowed down lots of games... some people want to update so don't because their other opponents haven't...

The updates have certainly derailed the games I have been playing.

I have a fairly slow but consistant turn rate but I make this clear when finding an opponent (I just hope they remember I warned them :))

Cheers, Chris

RE: Damn I hate a slow turn rate
Von Earlman,
Sorry for being out of the game for awhile I think I'm back in the game again. Hopefully when I play some turns that people are waiting on nothing will happen. Again sorry for being out of action, if its any cosolation the guy fixing my computer said he never seen anything like the problem before. turns to follow today later, thanks for your patience.

Chuck
