How do you delete the games that are saved within the program itself.

Example: If I open Western Front and press "Continue Saved Games", I have a list of games that I would like to delete.

Thank you for your assistance.

RE: Tiller Series Question
Hello Pat,

You need to delete the saved game file from the directory that the save battle is in on your hard drive.

You do that on your PC by going into the proper folder (EF, WF, RS) and deleting the battle file.

Thanx!

RE: Tiller Series Question
If I may make a suggestion, it would be to name your game files with some exclamation marks at the beginning.

For example: "!!Ivan vs Roadrunner - Tank Graveyard"

You will find that the directory, in alphabetical order, will put files starting with exclamation points right at the start......makes it much easier to find those games with sending them back and deleting them when you have finished. Most people in the club do this with their games.

Ivan

RE: Tiller Series Question
Thanks Ivan!
That was where I was headed.
Players do need to know the name of the files to unzip them and then play them too? :chin:
I was confused as to the specific files he wanted to delete. They might have been .btl files too? Eek

cheers

RE: Tiller Series Question
Ed,

Possibly it is the directory structure with the Matrix version (which I presume is what we are talking about) that is the problem....doubtless it differs, even if only a little, from old CS titles given that it is three games in one? So I may not have answered the question.

RE: Tiller Series Question
Hi,

it would be easyer going the save files in a seperate "Save" directory in each
part [EF/WF/RS] of this series .. and for PBEM maybe a "extra seperat" folder
too [Save\PBEM] .. so it was better to find for user.
[yes, atm it can find too, but in MANY other files]

RE: Tiller Series Question
Thank you very much gentlemen.

By highlighting the name within the game, the file name is displayed.

In my case it was btl. files that I could not find because I didn't know their file name.

All is well now and thank you again for you kind assistance.
