John Tiller mobile games gone - Scaz - 03-27-2024 Went to the Apple App Store and all of the John Tiller mobile games are gone. I can’t even download the ones that I purchased. Just a heads up for those who had them. I thought I had read in one of their (WDS) newsletters or Blog posts that mobile games was not something they were interested in supporting when they acquired the rights to John Tiller software. Likewise games through Steam. It's not actually an issue of us removing them from the App Store - it's more IOS updates means Apple deem that those apps "are no longer compatible with the latest version of IOS" - totally out of our control. That is, they've "aged out". This is, even though, it is pretty certain that they would still work without any problems. Upshot is, if you've already got them installed, you'll be fine otherwise not so much. The only way for us to solve this would be to rebuild them for the latest IOS version and then it's a ROI thing. Too many other competing priorities. |
