I'd tell you...but then I'd have to...never mind...;) RE: Operation Fischfang 1944 - Dan Caviness - 01-29-2023 Historically there were some massive artillery groups here who inflicted the bulk of casaulties on both sides. Nevertheless...I've grown tired of endless artillery replays...so in this one I cut the arty down. We can do the damage the old fashion way, by shooting each other in the face. The Yanks thought a church steeple standing high above the rubble and ruins of Aprilia was a smokestack. Hence, they gave the ruins the name of "The Factories". These piles of rocks and basements were fought over for days, and night fights as well. Today Aprilia is a beautiful village where the best Italian motorcycles are made, and Ducati can suck it. You will note a map label showing Padre Ducati's Leper Colony on the map, hard west. The Aprilia is my favorite track bike, a beauty, and the best to come out of Italy. I just don't have 40,000 laying around to spend on one...darn it...so...Honda it is...lol...but those Aprilia's are nice...on the bucket list... RE: Operation Fischfang 1944 - Dan Caviness - 02-05-2023 You all bring up a valid point however...I got to get these all out before my Oldtimer's Disease starts calling the shots... I'm hoping working on these scenarios will help keep (a few) brain cells alive...;) Tequila got a lot of them back in the day, and then, oh Hell, I forget what else happened...
