RE: 2.02 UPDATE is released! - Crossroads - 08-25-2014 Well the official party line is to finish 2.00 PBEM games on that install, and to do a clean 2.02 install to its side and to start new games on that one. A direct update from 2.00 to 2.02 will likely work as well, but to play it safe it is our recommendation to, well, play it safe and to do a clean install

Okay, so I updated to 2.02. Now I have 2 file folders in my window tree under Matrix games. One says JTCS 2.1 the other says JTCS. One file folder has all the game files. The latter should be the fool proof method to do it from 2.01 to 2.02 in case you want to try it again. Could not download. went to matrix the download worked. But I still have two folders. one with EF/WF a few other files. and the other has the game files. In the folder that has the game files I see the 2.02 download. So it did work, I think? I just don't know what the other file folder is for. Its probably something I missed? RE: 2.02 UPDATE is released! - Crossroads - 08-27-2014 I assume what happened is the 2.02 UPDATE installer asked which folder to install on, and it has "C:\Matrix Games\John Tiller's Campaign Series" on as a default. Then, if your previous install was at "C:\Matrix Games\John Tiller's Campaign Series 2.01" the installer created a new folder under the default name. You will in all likelyhood need to run the 2.02 UPDATE exe again, and manually change the folder to match the folder where the previous game files are.
