Hunting Davout from EC - Sgt_Rock - 07-02-2012

Guys - I just finished up with a game of "Hunting Davout" in EC which has become "Hunting Lefebvre" unfortunately over the years.

My new version with weather added in stinks.

As a result of this and other games I have played look for me to redesign the entire scenario from the ground up. I will leave the map alone for those that are playing the game but the NEW default map and scenario that will be in the next EC update will be brand new.

I am not happy with the Weather effects on movement. The units cannot get to where they were historically as a result. I also need to go over the weather one more time to see if I got it right.

Another problem is that the Dusk time is incorrect. This causes the scenario to end at NIGHT. From what I am reading the night did not come until about 8pm.

If anyone would like check out the new version please send me a PM and I will add you to a list of reviewers.

Filename and title of scenario will remain the same so that the database does not need to be changed.

Bill, I have to agree with you. My experience against Paco was definitely dampened by the weather.

Yes, Davout never gets to get into the fight. I was able to defeat Lefebvre just enough to get a Minor Victory. The weather also stopped weapons from firing which I know is wrong.

I may have based my weather on the wrong day. I believe I got the info from Jack Gill's volume 1 on the campaign so I will have to go back and read it again.
