Medal and Award Ceremony--Mad Dog and Joao Lima - TheBigRedOne - 12-29-2010 Gents, two orders of business. First, the Centurion Medal-First Class shall be awarded to Mad_Dog for completing his 200th game here on the SB ladder. Keep up the good work! Second, it is my honor to award Joao Lima with the Scenario Designer Award. Joao was the main scenario designer on both Spanish Civil War and Modern War, as well as doing a host of fantastic other post-release scenarios, many of which are fine ASL conversions. I've had the chance to really get to know him over the past year or so working on the MW project, as well as play testing his Pacific War Expansion Pack of scenarios, and can attest to not only his design skills, his immense knowledge of all things military, and his dedication to the SB community. His contributions to the SB gaming world over the past several years deserve recognition. Congrats, Joao. RE: Medal and Award Ceremony--Mad Dog and Joao Lima - Mad_Dog - 01-05-2011 Thanks guys. :) Congrats to Joao for Modern War, it was the first game I was involved in testing, and IMHO it would have been one of the most difficult titles to design. Lots of info is still classified, and balancing combat between a high tech, high morale army and a low tech insurgents is not easy. The award is well deserved.
