Once you get used to it, the oob makes sense. The Prussian brigades (division equivalents) are organized historically into Treffes (lines). Its not a coincidence that when they are organized historically and placed in the actual Prussian deployments of 15 or 16 June they are in command. With their large 800 man batalions split up, they can historically cover more ground, as well.
I hope everyone enjoys whatever oobs they prefer to play with. It's my opinion however, that this oob style makes the game more historically accurate. You wont catch me playing with 1000+ man inf bns and 600 man cav rgts at Eckmuhl or Wagram, but maybe thats an oob project for another day.
