Any feedback for Dark Winter? - jonnymacbrown - 12-21-2006

I designed Dark Winter because six December daylight turns in the Ardennes is, I'm sorry to say, historically false. Daylight doesn't break until after 0800 (sunrise is actually 0845) and by 1615 (sunset is 1601), it's pitch black. I'm wondering if anyone has tried it? I can't because I'm just Bulged out. von Egan:cool:

I think it's the best of the lot, though I'm prejudiced, having done the oob (which does need some tweaking). I still waffle a bit about the amount of detail to be used in oobs for large games such as this. I tend to the side of less units, and less tactical detail, which presumably Army Group commanders wouldnt be involved with.
Whatever happened to the version with strategic options?
