I took a break from the boards from from August to November 08. I never took a break from the game. If you are having fun with your opponents continue to play them. The boards have no impact on that. If the boards get to be too much then walk away from them. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. From my experience it is possible to enjoy the game without enjoying the boards. Thanx! In the old days this forum was a place where you could get motivation and good ideas from. The last 6 months or so this board is dominated completely by a Troll. So guys just take a break and come back!
