Theres alot of reinforcements about 50 divisions worth  There is no more, everything else is a CAT C or worse and your looking at 30-180 days for mobilization. It might be only a 2-1 manpower advantage if you combine the numbers but where 99.9% of the WP forces are under armor you have about 35% of Nato forces who are Motorized, airborne or airassault and they dont fare to well against armored units and this doesn't count the superiority in numbers for tanks and artillery.
But in the end every unit will never be on the map at the same time so the total numbers dont mean a whole lot just yours and his tactics.

My arachnid senses are telling me that the new title of MC is going to be either the map expansion of danube to the front (the game already recognises italian-allied and yugoslavian folders), a whole new map set in iraq and iran (the iranian and iranian-guards folders are also recognized) another game covering the chinese invasion of taiwan (same about "chinese" and "taiwan" folders) or even one covering the invasion of norway ("norwegian" folder working)

Ive seen the hints given for the 2 games to be released tomorrow and i dont believe its a MC game.

What about Unified Army Corps's? Soviet style corps composed of brigades instead of divisions? Its mentioned in Glantz' book about Soviet military operational art.

It seems one did belong to the Belorussian MD and to the Carpathian MD.

Did they even exist or?

Could be an interesting addition.

They did exist and i even have the composition and they wernt actual corps just oversized divisions(well this is what i call them, 4 Bdes and supporting regiments of ART and HEL) but the concept was abandoned in late to early 88-89, my info says NOV88 is when the idea was nixed.

If you have aditional info of the OOB or TOE, they are welcome. See link

Me and Dutch have touched on this before and what he has posted in his thread is what your looking for, as far as their use it would have been as an exploitation force to of course exploit a breakthrough and each Bde would act independently hence the designation brigade, even though these units were regular regiments in peacetime a regiment was a unit that acted as a whole, they moved and fought together where a brigade is a bunch of independent parts that would split apart to go multiple areas, in this case each BRIGADE would be independent and supported by the Corps assets of the ART,HELO regiment and various other Bn sized units. I at one time thought they might build actual Bdes out of the regiments with reserves because a armor bde in the Soviet army had a different structure but i have found no proof of this. Dutch has been digging into this more than i have because after i found out they wernt around when my scenario took place (JUN89) i dug no further but hes been looking around so id listen to what ever he has come up with.

RE: Bolt out of the Blue 4.6.1 - Aaron - 06-20-2010

Scoured a bunch of Russian forums for this info and think its about there, if anyone knows anything differently let me know. I know the oob is correct but the questions i have are manpower/equip in the engineer Bn and what or if any vehicles assigned to the Landing Bn (para)

Edit: Should mention i made the landing Bn MOT because it wouldnt have been able to keep up with the rest of the Bde if i keep it a FT unit.
