Hi all, latest big windows 10 upgrade caused a movement lag again.
FIXED by running game as administrator in windows 7 compatibility mode.
Which component of the update causes the lag? Have you been able to figure it out? If so, you can opt out of it.

I don't want to waste any more time on this, I had a earlier post here.

This quick fix works for me, the movement lag is a game breaker and time wasting exercise.

Sorry my apologies, I don't mean to be so blunt.
Yes, I am aware of your earlier post as I had the same problem. Thanks for the compatibility fix, I'll try it.

I was asking because, for me, Windows updates have usually proven to affect not only Panzer Campaigns games but other games as well. I'll try to find the exact cause of the lag. Will report back when/if I do.
I live dangerously - I was able to not only stop the Windows update from happening but also do not get those annoying messages either. Windows 10 was broke from the beginning and at least with the earlier updates things did not stop working.

I would like them to fix the problem with the folder view changing every time you open the same folder only to find it opens to look not like it did when you close it but it looks like the last folder you just opened. I am talking mainly of the size and position not that its using the "Large Icons" or "Details" views.
You guys are on a higher intellectual plateau than me.

Windows 10, fires up quicker, all the programs run smoothly with most problems caused by myself, therefore when I encounter a problem I google it, however once I couldn't get on line for assistance.

Now my PC can accept all the updates and upgrades, no other problems encountered, I will run the games with the fix outlined in the first post.
Yes, I did PC support for about 6 years. From DOS 5.0/Win 3.1 to Win 2000. When they started messing around with what worked so well in the past they lost my support.

I am hoping someday to have a Linux type system that would run the JTS programs.
Ok, again, try this, any lag problems on older systems with windows 10.

Navigate to the game " EXE " file ( example Bulge44 ) .
Right click, select troubleshoot compatibility.
Try running under a older version of Windows, just follow the prompts, I tried windows 8 first, then Windows 7 which works on my system which is 7 years old.
I have managed to find the update that causes the lag. It was necessary in my case to single out the exact update as it was also affecting a number of other apps that I use.

It is the Windows 10 update "KB4346084". Just as the last time I had this issue it is again caused by an Intel "fix". It is possible to hide this update usingĀ this tool.
