I am using windows 8 and recently downloaded the latest drivers recommended by my DELL support assistant

System BIOs
Intell Chip Set

....well now my all of my JTS PC games run very slow...with a distinct hesitation for movement and delay on fire results...almost takes the fun out of playing...

I restored the original settings...and even deleted and reloaded the games....no change ...

the download must have changed my settings...does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm assuming you're on a laptop?

Messing with drivers on a laptop is usually not recommended and you may have to contact your supplier.
It sounds like potentially a directX issue, but on a laptop I would be hesitant to give any technical advice.

You are also giving almost no technical information..

You could try sending a Dxdiag to JTS support and see if they can help you out?

If you're on a PC you should be able to simply do a system restore or a fresh Windows installation? Or even better; upgrade to Win10, Win8 is the worst modern iteration of the OS :)

Good luck sir!
Are you using or have you tried using CCleaner?

I know this wouldn't fix your issue however, it will help your system out if you are not currently using it regularly.

It deletes cookies and also can be used to identify, clean, and fix registry issues with one click of a button.

I've been using it multiple times a day, for many years.

Although it is old, it may help. The big take away is around reducing hardware acceleration, which helped in the past for certain users with slowness issues.

I am on a PC...the only games not running correctly are the JTS Campaigns....all other programs/games are running fine.

including ones that are much more demanding for graphics and A/I
