Date: 26 November 1741 - Size: Large - Location: Prague, Bohemia
Scenario Briefing: Alternate - In an assault that made the name and reputation of Maurice de Saxe, who would go on to be one of the war's greatest figures, a Franco-Saxon force took the city of Prague by storm on the night of 25/26 November 1741.
However, an Austrian relief army was on the march and this hypothetical scenario imagines what might have happened if the Austrians had been just a few days swifter in their response. Alerted to the approach of the Austrians, the Franco-Saxon forces under Gassion and Rutowsky have cancelled their assault plans, left a skeleton force to hold their siege positions against any sortie from the garrison, and taken up a defensive position to block the advance of the relief force.
Recommended Rules: [Default]
Intended to be played as the Pragmatic Alliance against the Anti-Pragmatic A/I, but can be played from either side or Head-to-Head.
