1620 27 May 1905. The superior training and quality of the Japanese fleet was making itself felt as the battle progressed. The Russian fleet circled and struggled to escape, but the Japanese fleet could not be outmanuevered. The accumulating damage to the Russian ships became too great and additional ships were sunk or disabled. As the battle progressed, the slow demise of the Russian Baltic fleet took place.
