June 24, 1762 The last major campaign of the war in the West saw Ferdinand heavily reinforced, though still inferior to the French. However, he saw his opportunity to attack the French army which had been posted north of Wilhelmstahl. He devised a complex attack with multiple converging columns. While his plan did not work perfectly, he did drive the French off in considerable confusion while destroying most of Stainville's wing of the army, which was posted well forward.

Interesting one. For the French to win the battle, they need to take a good position with their guns and make the enemy fight on their terms. For the British, they must go offensively and surround the enemy infantry as much as possible.

I rate this as moderately pro-British, but it is possible for a better than usual French player to extricate himself from Br. onslaught (particularly on the Fr. right flank) than might not at first seem apparent.
