With no objective hexes it means this game is very open to many ideas of how to engage and win
Starts off at a draw so it depends which side wants to attack.
With no objectives and limited time alot depends on attacking. It gives you lots of flexibility which is good and bad.
The game starts as a draw and what happens next depends on who wants to attack
If you play the Huegenots keep your army together. Attack with cavalry and cavalry loses are very expensive.
Played this battle four years ago and lost badly, but squeaked out a minor victory this time playing the same side. This battle has great replay value. Forces are fairly equal and plenty of room to maneuver. At 12 turns neither side can sit on their hands. The variety of units and values for those units in REN makes the battle interesting and exciting.
