Scenario length – 30 minutes June 4, 1942. After the disabling of the Akagi, Kaga and Soryu, the Hiryu was left alone to try to reclaim victory from disaster. The Yorktown was in the process of rotating CAP when Radar picked up the incoming strike approaching from the WNW just before noon. The Yorktown was able to muster 12 fighters, with 8 more on call from TF 16. The Zero escort for the strike had diverted to attack SBD's from the Enterprise, and had fallen behind the IJN strike. Despite heavy losses, the IJN forces would be able to do heavy damage to the Yorktown. [Note: This scenario is designed to be played against an American AI]
