The first day of the Waterloo campaign was characterized by a series of rearguard actions as lead Prussian elements attempted to extricate themselves from the overwhelming French advance. Near the end of the day the most significant action took place near Soleilmont. Here Zieten's I Korps put up a spirited defense.

The French exit hex is almost impossible to attain. The Prussians can get good points by exiting a brigade plus their cavalry and leaving some guns and a cavalry screen behind to block the French.

Played as the first battle of historical campaign. Were we able to replay this, I think we would just cycle through the battle as it offers no chance for the French to win and a great possible cost in men to the Allies.
