21 May 1809 (Historical) - The first day at Aspern-Essling saw some of the most fiercest fighting in the campaign. This was especially true of the battle for the Essling Granary, a huge building that dominated the country side. Like a fort it controlled the road and drew the Austrians like a magnet to its gate. Defended by the .... regiment its control was vital for the French. The Austrian Fourth Column under Rosenberg attacked in a disjointed fashion. This is depicted in the scenario by the Austrians being fixed and various formations being released at various times throughout the battle.
