May 3, 1809 (What-If) - Massena and Bessieres have been pursuing Hiller towards Vienna for over a week. Due to the many rivers that run north to the Danube they make a rearguard action very easy to perform. Now Hiller has decided to turn and inflict a defeat on the French. In this version of the scenario the French are attempting to turn the Austrian left by crossing the Truan (which then flows into the Danube) further upstream from Ebelsberg. The Austrians have anticipated this move and have put out a flanking force of their own. Can the French flanking force arrive in time to aid their comrades in crossing the long bridge across the Traun river? Claperade's division is pursuing a routed Austrian militia battalian into Ebelsberg as the battle begins. This scenario has alternate bridge sites along the Traun available for the French to use if they desire.
