George Crook vs Albert Jenkins. Raid on the Virginia and Tennessee RR. Cloyd's Mountain is located in southwestern Virginia, alongside Interstate 81, near a gap in Walker Mountain. Jenkin's forces are postiioned to block access to the railroad at Dublin, Virginia. Included in the Union order of battle are two future presidents--Rutherford B Hayes and William McKinley.
