The French are outnumbered and outgunned in this scenario, but hold a central position. Strategy is best to concentrate and fight one Austrian formation, or avoid combat altogether.

Future patches may chance this, but the ability to cross fords with infantry, cavalry, and artillery, makes defending bridges a waste of time for the French, and allows the Austrians to bring their advantage in numbers to bear. The Austrians really hold every advantage in this one.
