14 June 1800 - Historical - After Hidak's failed attempt to take Marengo the Austrians launched another assault. This time Kaim's division advanced against the village while Bellegarde's troops attacked the far French right flank. Only the timely arrival of Lannes stopped this attack from succeeding.
