14 January 1797 - Variant - Intended to be played Head to Head - Player Note: The French move first in the scenario - there is no Austrian move in the 1st turn - but the Allies/Austrians are the first player for victory purposes. This version of the historical battle features the Austrians using engineers to build a bridge over the Adige similar to when Wurmser moved on Mantua in August. The 6 Kolonne troops will not be fixed to start the game and will move earlier on the bridging site to get the work going early on.
