23 August 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head or Solo (favors the Prussians) - This is a 5 min/turn, 50m/hex scale, company level version of scenario 010.Battle of Größbeeren - Bulow's Assault. Reynier's VII Corps had established themselves in Grosbeeren and had made camp for the day just as v.Bülow's corps made its attack. A heavy rain had set in and the fighting would be with bayonets as the powder of the muskets was wet. The Prussian attack was fierce but unable to destroy the Saxon corps but nevertheless Reynier was forced to withdraw and never again would the corps stand up in a fight.
