10 December 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Supply wagons are worth 1 point/10 supply points. The Danish Auxiliary Corps under the command of the Prince Frederick von Hesse had become detached from Davout's command during late November and was making its way to Rendsburg when it found Wallmoden's forces approaching it from the south and west. Knowing that unless they could break through they would be surrounded they immediately attacked the few troops gathered near Sehestedt. Wallmoden tried in vain to bring up his entire force to block their path but after an afternoon of battle the Danes were able to extricate themselves from the trap and continue on their way to the southwest. The Allies had missed an opportunity to destroy the Danish Corps but the Prince's forces would eventually fall within a month as the Allies invaded Denmark and took them out of the war for good.
