16 October 1806 (Alternate) At 1pm on the 16th, Soult and his cavalry attempted to obtain the surrender of Kalkreuth's Reserve Corps but was put off for several hours with the story that the Prussian King and Napoleon were negotiating an armistice. Finally, Soult could wait no longer and as his infantry came up at 4pm he attacked. The Prussian rearguard was able to hold off the French so that the rest of the army could escape. What if the French infantry had arrived sooner? Could Soult have bagged the Prussian Reserve Corps? Sahuc's Dragoons will arrive at 2pm as reinforcements. Intended for head to head play.
