14 October 1806 (Historical) The second phase of the Battle of Auerstedt began when Blucher arrived with more cavalry and the brigades of von Schmettau and von Wartensleben made their first assaults on Gudin's men in and around Hassenhausen. Friant was just coming up and the situation for the French was crucial. The Prussians disjointed attacks doomed them to defeat. In particular their cavalry had decided to pursue some French chasseurs at an inopportune moment. Units on both sides will have some fatigue and losses due to the earlier fighting for Hassenhausen. Best played human vs. human. The Prussians are the First Player. There is no French player phase on the first turn. Intended for head to head play.
