26 December 1806 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - This is the historical battle of Pultusk. Lannes' V Corps reinforced by the 3rd Division of III Corps (D'Aultanne in command in place of Gudin who was ill) attacked to take the important bridge at Pultusk not realizing he was facing a far superior foe. The stronger Russian force, combined with the mud, made for an almost impossible task. Even when the 3rd Division did arrive the best the French could do is hold on until nightfall. This scenario is included for historical sake and the players should consider playing one of the many variants for a more balanced situation.
