(H) - The Austrian army was probing towards Saal and Abbach when they ran into elements of Davout's III Corps marching from Saal to the Ratisbon-Abensberg road. Swiftly the divisions of Friant and St. Hilaire deployed for combat. The latter was near Teugn, slightly behind Morand, when the Austrian skirmsihers opened fire on his columns. St. Hilaire's Division turned to fight and the battle was on! This alternate version of the historical battle features the Austrians getting the Grenadiers as reinforcements while the French get the rest of Friant's division and St. Sulpice's cuirrassiers.
