The French have to attack across flat land against a vast number of allied artillery.
The 1813 campaign doesn't really work as players either end up at Altenberg or Taucha and both are totally pro allied.

The scenario provides a strong Prussian and Russian defensive position with many Allied artillery units, most in well-placed fortified positions. French attack options are limited, with most over open ground.

There *might* be a French tactical option to advance along one of the map edges (i.e., gamey) and gain VP's via exiting units but, even if the French pursue this option, I believe a solid Allied player can counter that advance.
