10 September 1808 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head or Solo as the Allied player vs. the AI (see RSW-Solo.pdf for Solo play victory levels) - The Russians were looking to trap portions of the Swedish army along the coast and part of their plan was for Kamensky's force to advance north and press on to the coast. The Lappo river provided a barrier to his advance and it was that along a long stretch of it that the Swedes under Reutercrona held the bridges and fords. What followed was a long day of fighting where the Russians attempted to cross at certain points and finally make a slight flank movement to turn the Swedish right flank with a couple of companies. The main force faced the Swedes that were at Nederhärmä while a larger flanking force was sent to the north to attempt to cut them off by crossing at the fords to the north. The small Swede forces at the fords held off the Russians long enough for the rest of the brigade to escape the trap but Kamensky had not been stopped. His force had opened up a way to the coast for the continued advance to threaten the main Swedish army. This scenario covers the afternoon portion of the fight when the main fighting took place.
