2 December 1805 - Historical - The Battle of Austerlitz remains as Napoleon's finest victory. Facing a superior foe he deployed his forces in such a way as to entice the Allies to attack his seemingly weak right flank. Once the lumbering Allied columns had embarked on their march he launched his attack at the vital Pratzen Heights and then his troops held off each counterattack in succession. History rarely notes that this action was very close and that the vital midpoint of the battle could have gone towards the Allies had they organized an effective assault on the French. Their lack of leadership at this crucial point lead to the destruction of their army. Can you as Alexander do better or will Napoleon prevail once again? Or will your French hold off the Allied hordes or go down in flaming defeat? This scenario uses the Normal Terrain for those that have difficulty distinguishing the different heights/contours. Can be played Head to Head or Solo vs. Allies.

This battle pretty much puts your intent right out front once the fog lifts. Not easy to hide what you are trying to do, so you have to use the terrain to mask what you can.
