8 November 1805 - Historical - As the French army advanced down the valley of the Danube they met scattered resistance. One such place was Mariazell where Merveldt's troops formed a line to block the advance of Davout's III Corps. Morale was low among the Austrians and resistance lasted for about an hour and the command scattered to the four winds. This would be one of the last actions before the French took Vienna. Best played as the French vs. the AI.
