10 February 1814 - Historical - Intended for Head to Head play - Napoleon's slashing attack on the Army of Silesia first fell on the unfortunate 9th Corps. Olsufiev had been criticized for not taking action earlier in the campaign so he chose to hold his ground and fight rather than fall back in the early stages of the battle. Positioning his forces at two key villages he set his corps up for a defeat in detail. The superior French forces overwhelmed his defenses and in short order Napoleon had reduced the Allied forces by one infantry corps. He had placed himself square in the middle of the Allied march route and would move to the west to defeat Sacken and Yorck on the next day.

French seemed to have the advantage here.
