Very heavily biased towards the British side. The French can capture most of Fuentes but it's well nigh impossible to hold: it's like a French Stalingrad.

The French can surround the British and it becomes like Stalingrad. British firepower and higher quality mean the best the French can hope for is a draw - and that by retreating.

Hopeless for the French unless they just turn around and march right back off the map.

Great defensive position for the Allies with lots of village hexes and walls to hold out with.

I played this about as bad as you possibly can as the Allies, and still ended up with a solid minor victory.

The French have to fight for village hexes and over walls against stiff British resistance and a lot of artillery. It's rather like a mini Stalingrad.

The French have more cavalry, but the battlefield isn't very conducive for cavalry charges. Trying to push the Allies off the high ground is very difficult and expensive in men and points.
