Ciudad Rodrigo: The Siege of 1810 - This scenario starts at dawn on 5th July, after the capture of Santa Cruz, the construction of a 2nd parallel and the establishment of additional French siege batteries on the lesser Teson. A breach had now been created on the north angle of the defences, but the Spanish garrison under Herrasti, reduced to little more than 4000 combatants, still refused to surrender.
