Arroyo dos Molinos 28th October 1811 - Variant scenario using the alternative pdt and gun sections. A French division under Girard had been sent north of Merida to maintain communication links between Drouet and Marmont. With Wellington's permission, Hill force-marched his 2nd Division and caught the French by surprise at Arroyo dos Molinos. Part of the French force - Reymond's brigade - had already started on an early morning march towards Merida, but the rest of Girard's force was effectively trapped, since Hill had blockaded the three roads leading into Arroyo before launching his attack.
