For the focus Pacific mod unfortunately the modification still led to a capitulation by Japan in June 1942. The allies especially the air force and land forces are invincible.

I blundered my way into a draw by late 43 after losing North Oz and Sri Lanka, that's a good example of just how much leeway the Allied Player has if he sticks to it.
