It is good that you captured the bridges at Trois Ponts and can move directly for the Meuse. You must drive quickly now, through Werbomont, and capture the bridge at Hamoir. There can be no more delays.

This scenario needs a lot of work. I had the German side. There was no challenge at all for the Germans from turn one. Supposed to be 1944 but my opponent noted the Allies were equipped as 1942. with a low morale to be 1944. They had one anti tank gun. I on the other hand had a large number heavy tanks.
It was not enjoyable, frustrating for the allies, no challenge at all for the Germans. Being the german side. I wanted a greater challenge. These types of scenarios dont make it fun for either player.

I hate writing a review like this. Maybe the designer was having a bad day. This is one of the worst one-sided, un-researched and frustrating scenarios I have played. It's 12/18/44 and the American paratroopers (all three battalions) are the 1942 variety with no anti-armor capabilities. They can only muster a strength 2 attack against armor and the Germans are armor heavy. Americans have no armor, no engineers and only one 57mm anti-tank gun strength 4. All of the Americans are fixed and are released one battalion at a time but they are overrun before they can move. They have three 105mm artillery batteries that never come into play as they are out of range and can only bombard a remote section of the map that has no value. The Germans only need to attack with their armor because it's nearly impossible for the Americans to kill or stop them. No need to expose very many German infantry.
