Butzdorf, 15km SW of Saarburg, Germany: [Best played as Allied] The US 95th Infantry Division's initial attacks into the German West Wall fortifications southwest of Saarburg on January 14th 1945, were intended to open a route into the Saar-Moselle Triangle and provoke a response by the defending German 416th Infantry Division. As hoped the advance by Colonel McClune's "Fighting 376th" Infantry Regiment into the Nennig-Butzdorf area prompted a counterattack, but one slightly larger than intended. By coincidence the German 11th Panzer Division had been en-route to the very sector the 95th had chosen for its attack. Forced to leave most of its Panther tanks near Saarburg because of dwindling fuel supplies and limited bridge capacity over the Sarr River, plans were made to strike the Americans' penetration at Butzdorf with elements of the 110th Panzergrenadier Regiment supported by Mark IV panzers and assault guns. Alerted to the approach of the panzer division, the men of the 1st/376 Infantry Battalion worked through the 17th to dig in while positioning tank destroyers and anti-tank guns in the deep snow to meet the impending attack. At dawn on the 18th the storm broke.

Easy win for the Germans. Blast into the two towns and overrun them. Clean up stragglers and then prepare for the US infantry reinforcements at board edge.

Stupid. About as much fun as painting the Living Room.
Resolve then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tinny blasts on tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us. --Walt Kelly

A potentially decent scenario is ruined by victory conditions that would be difficult to win against for the Allies vs. the AI. Very few options here for the Allies. Played effectively, the Allies can do more damage, but really can't stop the Axis from taking 400 pts. of objectives, which the Victory Conditions don't account for.
