Eagle Day+1, Deal, 14km NE of Dover, England: [Hypothetical, best played as Axis] The 6th Mountain Division had taken a beating on Eagle Day after landing west of Dover. Suppressing the Dover garrison turned out to be a tougher job than expected. Although the town is now secure, reinforcements for the division have not been forthcoming. The morning of the 15th finds German forces breaking out of the bridgehead and driving inland. Due to the casualties incurred on the first day, the 6th Mountain Division has now been ordered to clear the right flank and secure the towns of Deal and Sandwich. The bulk of the British Army has retreated north and northwest toward Canterbury, so resistance is expected to be light. Note that Storch and Naval raiding parties are expected to be in the area creating as much havoc as possible in and behind the British lines. Elements of the 18th Panzer Regiment are also en route to assist in the operation. Now is the chance to tear open the wound and slaughter the beast!
